At our dinner table:We were talking about "when we were young"--you know, back when i thought my tummy was too big, my hips too wide..... * S I G H * You know, those days when young couples are actually tempted to take Polaroids in skimpy lingerie. ( Not saying i did! Or didn't. Just saying.)
Hubby looks across the table at me--"How would you feel about taking pictures now?"
i respond, "That ship has sailed," thought a moment longer and added, "and come back carrying a whole bunch of freight...."
We laughed longer than we have since we didn't (or did) take those pictures.
