I’d like to think I’m merely practical and that

of water that wants to pull me

Nice work. Want to hear something funny. In my day one poem I also used "a body of water". Of course, you wouldn't know that because I am not posting my work. Now I sit here wondering how many people will use the phrase "body of water" in their poems this month. Sometimes I just waste time thinking things of no importance. :-)
