It was a bit of a rough one--the initial cesarean went just fine, but Shawn continued bleeding too long. This meant a second trip to the operating room and a redo of her inner sutures, but it's all good now. :-)
THANK YOU SO MUCH! She is pretty sweet looking, eh? Elias, at age 4, was interested, but Euan, 2, was much more interested in the excavater truck given him by "the baby"-- Elias was also upset because they didn't call the baby "Serena"...
God is good--all the time! (and now breathing a loooong sigh of relief...)
Serena? Where did he get that name from? I didn't realize they were going with all E names till now. I don't think I've ever seen Elliette before. You must be VERY PROUD, having your name in the middle. Congrats again, Grandma!!! ;)
Congratulations! I am so excited for Shawn and Jon (and you, too!). She is absolutely perfect, and Elliette is a beautiful name. Give Shawn and Jon my love!
