"If all your friends jumped off a blog..."

Well, here i am, embarking on the blog journey. i can just hear a mother somewhere saying sternly, hands on hips, "If all your friends jumped off a blog, would you jump too??" The answer? Apparently i would.

i've been perusing blogs lately--some friends, some random strangers as i follow a link to a link to a link. One thing i've always enjoyed is seeing what's going on inside somebody's head, and blogs give others a peek. So in a way i guess i'm putting my own head on display. My friends, please be kind as you look in the dusty corners.

Don't you remember brother's mother says she taught us to think for ourselves as long as it matched her thinking?! I too have been going thru many physical and mental problems and feel I am too young for this! I don't try to understand it tho. I spent my life accepting things until I left home and many things I just accept like these spinal and mental problems. Just don't make me mad tho because then I'm not so accepting! Very cool my dear one that you have started this blog. May the sun shine on you and help heal your aches and pains. Do you get pain meds or muscle relaxers or anti inflammatories? My psyche nurse says many people with our background have chronic pain. We hold so much stress in our muscles and fascia. I keep busy to not think about my pain and it works for the most part. Problem is it has to be mental since I can't walk or stand long so spend hours online and on phone. Good luck jle! I like looking in your head and others too- we learn about ourselves that way. I will be kind!

You're my first comment! How fun is that! Thanks for the kind words and thoughts--

i tend to save the muscle relaxers for the really sore days since they make me sleepy, and try to do my stretches and take hot baths, and when the sun is shining i do try to soak some up--it is cheap therapy, for sure...

I wish muscle relaxers made me sleepy! I think I'll have to change the one I'm on since we do build up a resistance to most meds you get on- I like naproxan (sp) for an anti inflammatory so will get some when I can. The flower is most gorgeous! Take care and I hope they find something more helpful for fibromyalgia soon! This last pain clinic mentioned a couple pain pills I've never heard of or tried so may try that when I see them or my fnp. Do you have pain clinics there? Toodles...
